Health & Fitness – Life Choice or Your Choice

Health and Fitness are life’s journey, a deep and soul
satisfying process. In a world where intentions of regular
exercise are often hard to realise and ready meals and
takeaways are a welcome option after a long day at work,
concerns about overall health and fitness are on the
increase, heart and circulatory conditions are a real danger
for many.

Quality of life is enhanced when nutrition, exercise, sleep
and other elements of health and fitness are addressed
and improved upon. In these days of obesity and
over-indulgence, health and fitness are subjects that
everyone should be more aware of.

Health is the most precious thing we possess.

We need to exercise, eat right, sleep plenty and drink
plenty (of water) plus cultivate a healthy body image.

A healthy dose of common sense is very much called for too.

Please don't make it so complicated that you end up doing all
sorts of unbeneficial and "unbelievable" things that

harm your body and health. Just 30 minutes a day makes a
heck of a lot of difference to your body, mood, emotion and
your health. In order to maintain good physical health you
need the right mind set. True fitness is the result of a joyful
devotion to living a healthy lifestyle, one in which there are
no rules, only guidelines we design for ourselves.

To achieve a true state of wellness we must transform
ourselves from the inside out, including proper nutrition,
good physical health, and a peaceful state of mind.

In today's lifestyle, keeping good health and wellness depends
on taking a balanced diet along with food supplements.

Home cooking helps easily to maintain your health and fitness,
as the home made food will be rich in essential nutrients.

Of late people are aware of health care and are giving
importance to nutritious food. If your diet is balanced then
you are assured of good health. Keeping good health and
fitness requires regular attention.

That's why the Government are giving importance to
community health through various wellness programs and
giving support through social security.

Health and fitness are also important for the simple reason
that fit, healthy men (and women) are likely to live longer.

The key to sticking to your fitness programme is to find a
sport you enjoy: there's nothing more soul-destroying than
pounding away on a treadmill because you feel you have to.

If you’re looking to improve your health and fitness there
are many forms of exercise and training that prove an
excellent total body workout and provide all the necessary
ingredients for a long and healthy life. The following are all
variety of forms of exercise you may want to consider:
Walking briskly, Jogging/Running, Swimming,
Working out in the gym, Tennis, Squash, Badminton, Golf,
Bowling, Yoga or Gardening.

If you and your partner are taking up exercise for the
first time, it's a good idea to get checked out by your GP
beforehand. "'Forget about 'feeling the burn': it's best
for your body if you and your partner increase your
exercise level over time".

Also remember that being overweight puts extra strain
on our bodies so Bike riding, golf, tennis, jogging or some
other gentle sport or activity can provide good medium
exercise. An aerobic exercise program can burn fat and
increase the metabolic rate.

If a moderate level of fitness is already in place, then
running or beginning weight lifting may be logical.

Whatever the type, having a clearly defined program
can assist in achieving fitness goals and attaining better
health. Health clubs and fitness centres employ health
and fitness professionals, so if you are considering a Gym
membership, make use of their professional knowledge.

Theories and techniques behind health and fitness are
constantly changing as new research is performed and
new conclusions are drawn. Beyond Exercise your health
and fitness are enhanced by more than exercise alone, so
remember.
